Indonesia is famous with heritage of herbs and the authentic recipes of culinary. "Legen" is a part of Javanese cuisine as a sweetener agent in traditional cooking. We define "Legen" as a lounge and bar that create a sweet moment with family, friends and beloved one.
Legen, comes from Javanese language "legi" which means sweet. The Legen drink was made from sap flower from the Aren tree or Lontar tree which is tapped and collected in bumbung, using pieces of bamboo as acontainer. The sap flowers of the Aren tree or Lontar tree is collected in the afternoon and the next morning bumbung will be filled with the sap of Aren tree or Lontar tree .
